Taliban: US must retreat from Afghanistan without preconditions

In a statement issued by the Taliban on the ninth anniversary of the September 11 attacks in New York, the group called US forces to retreat from Afghanistan and end its "illegal occupation" without preconditions.
The statement further noted that the US has lost all chances for peace despite employing every military solution in Afghanistan. (AFP)
