Lebanese reports: Netanyahu promised US to extend freeze

Diplomatic sources say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised the US administration he would not allow the renewal of construction in West Bank settlements in the next eight months, but that he would not make a public announcement to this effect, Lebanese news agencies reported.
The reports say Netanyahu told state officials he would announce neither the end of the freeze or the renewal of construction. (Roee Nahmias)
