Netanyahu propounds 'interim' alternatives to construction freeze

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after a Cabinet meeting Sunday, in which ministers discussed the possible renewing of construction in West Bank settlements, that there were alternatives aside from either building or continuing an overall moratorium.
Minister Michael Eitan mentioned that international opinion should be considered when making the decision, but Minister Benny Begin rejected this and said construction must be renewed immediately. (Attila Somfalvi)
