Likud minister: Government committed to settlment construction

Communications Minister Moshe Kahlon (Likud) said the settlement in Judea and Samaria was "an interest and strategic asset of the State of Israel, from a security-related and Zionist-cultural perspective."
Kahlon, who toured northern Samaria communities as the guest of Shomron Regional Council head Gershon Mesika, clarified that "we as a government are committed to a construction boom in all areas of Judea and Samaria." (Aviel Magnezi)
