Report: Palestinians threaten to quit talks over end of freeze
The Palestinian negotiating team has threatened to quit direct talks should Israel resume settlement construction during the Sharm el-Sheikh summit, the London-based al-Hayat newspaper reported Wednesday. According to the report, Israel has made it clear it will not extend the construction moratorium.
Nabil Abu Rudeina, member of the Palestinian negotiations team, told the paper that the Americans said they would pressure Israel into extending the freeze. (Roee Nahmias)
