Mitchell: Core issues discussed in peace talks
US special envoy to the Mideast George Mitchell said at the end of his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that the negotiations are quickly gaining momentum.
They are tackling up front ... the issues that are at the centre of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," Mitchell told reporters.
