Western powers meet 3 months after Iran sanctions

Representatives of six Western powers announced that they will meet next week in the US in order to discuss Iran's nuclear program. US State Department Spokesman Philip Crowley said that the powers will examine the progress of efforts to encourage Iran to hold constructive dialogue with the international community.
The meeting will be held some three months after the most recent round of sanctions was imposed on Iran in the UN Security Council. (AFP)
