Bill: Keep governmental websites active on Shabbat, holidays

Meretz Chairman, MK Chaim Oron presented a bill calling to activate governmental internet sites during holidays and Shabbats.
"It is a public information service that on the one hand does not necessitate employing staff on rest days, and on the other hand it vital around the clock; therefore there is no reason to shut it off in a heterogonous and multi-cultural state such as ours," MK Oron said. (Roni Sofer)
