UK minister says migrant cap hurting economy

Business Secretary Vince Cable was quoted on Friday as saying immigration limits were costing Britain thousands of jobs and hurting its economic recovery.

"A lot of damage is being done to British industry," Cable said in an interview with the Financial Times, adding that companies were moving jobs overseas in response to immigration caps that left them unable to hire key staff. (Reuters)
