Report: Ahmadinejad to make surprise visit to Syria on Yom Kippur

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to Damascus on a surprise visit Saturday and meet Syria's Bashar Assad, according to Iranian news sources.
According to reports, the visit will last just a few hours. The leaders will discuss developments in the Middle East, apparently in light of negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. An official visit is scheduled for next month. (Dudi Cohen)
