Sri Lanka official sources: 27 deaths in accidental explosion

The number of deaths in the accidental explosion in eastern Sri Lanka is 27, and not 60 as reported earlier. Official sources said the victims included 25 police officers and two Chinese nationals. The explosive material was destined for a road construction site. (AFP)
