A prominent Russian gay rights activist who vanished from a Moscow airport this week says he is free again after being held for more than two days by men he believes were state security agents.
Nikolai Alexeyev tells The Associated Press he was freed around dawn on Saturday on the outskirts of the city of Tula 200 kilometers (120 miles) south of Moscow and made his way home by bus. (AP)
