Egyptian security forces raised their alertness level in the Sinai region near the Israeli border following information that armed Palestinians were planning to fire rockets at Israel, the Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported Sunday.
It is not yet clear whether suspects have been detained or whether the rockets had been already smuggled into Egypt. (Ynet)
