Beinish: Violence 'seeping' into courtrooms

Supreme Court President Judge Dorit Beinish said that the recent "street atmosphere" and violence are seeping into the courts. "To my sorrow, a judge under pressure and overload, when they hurt him in his own hall, is liable to get carried away," Beinish said during an Israel Bar Association conference in Jerusalem. "Then come the requests to remove him from his post."
Beinish also criticized the publication of investigation material in the press, saying attorneys and PR people try to influence public opinion in order to influence the judges. (Ari Galahar)
