Peres: Middle East has room for every person

President Shimon Peres commented on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's threats to annihilate Israel during his speech at a United Nations conference in New York Monday.
Peres stressed that Israel will continue to exist and strive for peace with its neighbors and noted there was enough room for everyone in the Middle East. (Yitzhak Benhorin, New York)
