PM: Palestinians must recognize Israel as Jewish state
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a conference call with hundreds of leaders of Jewish organizations and communities in the US. During the call, he said that the Palestinians must recognize Israel as the Jewish state.
"Just say it. Just say that you recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people. This is the essence of the problem that we have been up against all these years – the failure, or the refusal, to recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people," said Netanyahu. (Attila Somfalvi)
