Deputy defense minister: Barak cannot lead Labor

Deputy Defense Minister MK Matan Vilnai (Labor) said Defense Minister Ehud Barak failed with the management of the Labor party, and was unable to lead it. In a meeting with Labor party activists, Vilnai alluded that uniting with Kadima was the correct ideological move.
In response to his statements, Vinai said, "I support Ehud Barak as defense minister and the chairman of the party. The comments were said on a broader context, as result of the current condition of the Labor party." (Attila Somfalvi)
