Norway to renew PA donor committee activity by end of year

Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere said during a speech at the UN that his country plans to renew the Ad-Hoc Liaison Committee for assistance to the Palestinian Authority by the end of 2010.
Stoere said that Norway, which chairs the AHLC, aims to promote reforms in the PA and that the renewal of the AHLC's operations will happen in accordance with the progress of direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. (AFP)
