Bill Clinton: There's 50-50 chance for peace deal
Former US President Bill Clinton said Tuesday that he believes there is a good chance that an agreement will be reached between Israel and the Palestinians. He noted circumstances have changed for both sides and said the chance for a deal was at least 50-50.
Speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative conference, he noted he was aware that enemies of peace would try to cause trouble should an agreement be reached, but stressed that the region is "screaming for peace" and is in the process of being modernized. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Ne York)
