Barak to Abbas: We mustn't miss opportunity for peace

Defense Minister Ehud Barak told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during their meeting in New York, "We must not miss the opportunity created to reach a breakthrough in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians and end the demands."
Barak added that both sides must "show responsibility in order to guarantee the future of the next generations." Barak's office reported that the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. (Attila Somfalvi)
