Netanyahu: Bill Clinton's remarks 'distressing'
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday evening said the remarks attributed to former US President Bill Clinton were 'distressing.' According to the Foreign Policy magazine, Clinton said Russian immigrants were one of the main obstacles to peace with the Palestinians.
"As a friend of Israel, Clinton must know that the immigrants from the former Soviet Union have contributed and are making a great contribution to the advancement, development and strengthening of the IDF and the State of Israel. Only a strong Israel can establish solid and safe peace." (Attila Somfalvi)
