US welcomes Russian decision to freeze Iran missile deal

The United States has welcomed Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's decision not to deliver S-300 air-defense missiles to Iran.
According to the National Security Council, Medvedev demonstrated leadership and proved the need for cooperation between Washington and Moscow for the sake of global security. (AFP)
