Serbia's Tadić: Talks with Kosovo to be renewed soon

Serbian President Boris Tadić announced that Serbia would soon begin talks with Kosovo. During a speech at the UN General Assembly, Tadić also called on other states to avoid recognizing Kosovan independence.
Kosovo declared its independence in February 2008. Some 70 states have recognized its independence, including the US and 25 of the 27 EU member states. (AFP)
