Barak says '50-50 chance' of reaching solution on settlements
Defense Minister Ehud Barak says there is a "50-50 chance" to reach a compromise with the Palestinians in terms of the settlement construction issue."
In an interview to the BBC, Barak noted that he was returning from New York to Israel to try to convince government members about the need to reach a compromise. He expressed his hope that the settlement issue will not "block" the peace process. (Ynet)
