Official: Chavez allies win congressional majority

Venezuela's electoral chief says President Hugo Chavez's allies have won a majority in congressional elections.
National Electoral Council president Tibisay Lucena said early Monday that with most votes counted, Chavez's party won at least 90 of the 165 seats, while the opposition coalition won at least 59 seats.
