Former Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher died Monday morning at age 75 from an ongoing heart disease.
Maher participated in the Camp David Peace Summit in 1978 and later in talks on the withdrawal from Taba. Many Israelis remember him from an incident that occurred during his visit to Jerusalem in 2003, when he was pelted with shoes by an angry crowd. (Roee Nahmias)
