Minister Shalom: Freeze never made any sense
None
Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom said during a tour of the Negev that "the decision not to extend the freeze was correct…and God willing construction will resume all over."
The minister further added, "The freeze did not make any sense. This demand has never been presented to any other prime minister and it never disrupted negotiations. If the Palestinians quit the talks, it will be clear it was only an excuse." (Attila Somfalvi)
