Minister Shalom: Construction freeze was inappropriate

During a support rally for the settlement project in the West Bank, held at the Cave of the Patriarch in Hebron, Minister Silvan Shalom said, "The construction freeze was inappropriate," and noted that no former prime minister was demanded to take such steps.
"However," Shalom added, "The negotiations must persist. If the Palestinians leave the negotiations table over the construction – it will only be an excuse, as far as I am concerned." (Yair Altman)
