European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton expressed her sorrow over Israel's decision to renew construction in the West Bank.
The UN secretary-general, the US, and Britain have also said they are disappointed by the decision, which they say clouds the peace talks with the Palestinians. (AFP)
