Turkey, Palestinians demand Israeli apology for flotilla raid

Speaking before the UN Human Rights Council, representatives of Turkey and the Palestinian Authority called upon Israel to apologize for killing nine activists aboard a Gaza-bound flotilla in May.
"Israel must apologize to those who have suffered," said the Palestinian representative. The Turkish ambassador called the Israel Navy's raid on the flotilla "cruel." (AFP)
