Iran court orders dissolution of reformist parties

An Iranian court has ordered the dissolution of two leading reformist parties, a judiciary spokesman was quoted as saying said on Monday.

 

Qolamhossein Mohseni-Ejei said the Islamic Iran's Participation Front and the Islamic Revolution Mujahideen Organisation were banned from further activities. "The court ordered the dissolution of these two parties and they are now banned from having any activities," Mohseni-Ejei was quoted as saying by the news agency Isna. (Reuters)
