Clinton urges India to buy US defence goods
US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is making a pitch for India to buy defence equipment from American companies.
Spokesman P.J. Crowley told reporters that Clinton's message to Indian Defense Minister A.K. Antony in a meeting Tuesday was that the United States has "the finest military hardware in the world, and, if India is upgrading its defence capabilities, they should buy American." (AP)
