Stones hurled at end of October 2000 rally

Some 20 participants in the main rally in Kafr Kanna marking the 10th anniversary of the October 2000 riots hurled stones at Israeli vehicles. There were no reports of injuries or damage. The violence was stopped following the intervention of the village dignitaries.

Police forces deployed in the area are prepared to prevent any disturbances. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
