Barak: Way around talks deadlock possible 'within a week'
Defense Minister Ehud Barak issued a notice calling on the Palestinian leadership and other parties involved in the talks to demonstrate responsibility and continue with negotiations. Barak's call came after the PLO's executive committee laid the responsibility for the talks deadlock at Israel's door.
"We must all behave rationally and with determination to overcome the difficulties and continue negotiations in order to get results," Barak wrote. The defense minister expressed his confidence that intensive debate between the parties in the coming week could lead to a way around the deadlock. (Attila Somfalvi)
