MK Eldad: PLO statement an 'escape route' from perilous talks
MK Arieh Eldad (National Union) called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to withdraw from the Israeli-Palestinian peace process following the PLO's announcement that it would suspend the talks unless the settlement freeze is extended.
"These talks would have brought about the inception of an Arab state in the middle of Israel. We must use the escape route which has presented itself," he said. (Roni Sofer)
