One of Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen's guards has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession. The man was arrested Saturday by the Givatayim Police while on duty.
The police chief has a personal bodyguard as well as a guard outside his home in the city of Givatayim, near Tel Aviv. In addition, police patrol the area near the house regularly.
On Saturday, during a routine patrol, the guard stationed outside the house aroused the police's suspicion. They searched his booth and found a small amount of drugs, which they believe he had been using while on duty.
The man was arrested and replaced by another guard. His employer, the Modiin Ezrachi company, was informed of the arrest.
