The Palestinians claim that settlers tried to torch a mosque and sprayed derogatory graffiti in Hebrew on the place of worship in Fajar, which is northeast of Hebron. Residents of the village said that a number of settlers set the mosque on fire along with a number Korans and a carpet. A fray broke out between the two sides, and IDF forces that arrived on the site evacuated the settlers.
The Palestinians reported that graffiti was sprayed on the mosque's walls denouncing the Prophet Muhammed, Arabs, and Muslims. (Yair Altman and Ali Waked)
