The Finance Ministry and Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry have approved granting Intel up to NIS 678 million (about $186 million). In return, the company will be required to create up to 600 jobs from 2011 to 2018 and invest NIS 10 billion ($2.75 billion) in Israel."
According to government officials, Intel's financial investment is strategically important for strengthening the industry, guaranteeing exports and establishing Israel as a leading country in terms of technology. (Ynet)
