Nobel Prize Laureate Maguire deported from Israel
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Mairead Maguire was deported from Israel in the early morning hours on Tuesday, the Interior Ministry reported. The Supreme Court rejected her appeal of the decision to deny her entry to the country.
Maguire was arrested last week upon landing in Israel after a deportation order was issued her over her participation in the flotilla that tried to break Israel's naval blockade against the Gaza Strip. (AFP)
