Livni to UN: Stop giving Ahmadinejad platform
Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni (Kadima) met Wednesday with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and urged him to stop allowing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to use the UN as his platform.
The Iranian president's last UN speech was "very dangerous and had proven that diplomatic sanctions are in order to keep the radical regime in Tehran from having a platform for their dogma," she said. (Attila Somfalvi, Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
