Demjanjuk trial hears evidence on 1978 deposition
The court trying John Demjanjuk for his alleged activities at a Nazi death camp has heard testimony from a woman who transcribed a deposition by the defendant during U.S. denaturalization proceedings in 1978.
Defense lawyer Ulrich Busch sought unsuccessfully to bar testimony from Linda Kulhanek at the Munich court Wednesday. He argued the conduct of the deposition was unsatisfactory under US and German law. (AP)
