Gunmen in Pakistan attack NATO transport trucks

Gunmen in Pakistan attacked and set fire to trucks used for transporting supplies to NATO troops in Afghanistan, police and officials said on Wednesday.

News of the attack came after the United States apologised to Pakistan for a NATO cross-border incursion in which US helicopters killed two Pakistani soldiers, an incident the American ambassador to Islamabad called a terrible accident. (Reuters)
