Greenpeace delivers radioactive waste to EU

Greenpeace activists hauled two barrels of radioactive waste to the front door of the European Union parliament in Brussels on Thursday and handcuffed themselves around the drums in a demand for tough new EU environmental laws.

More demonstrators scaled nearby flagpoles, holding signs that said: "Nuclear waste - no solution." (Reuters)
