France: Constitutional Council approves burqa ban law

France's Constitutional Council approved the controversial burqa ban law which prohibits wearing the burqa in public throughout France.
Nevertheless, the law does state that Muslim women will be permitted to wear the burqa when entering holy places. (AFP)
