France: 2 accused of terror ties granted conditional release

An indictment has been filed against a mother and her 25-year-old son who were arrested Tuesday in southern France on suspicion of being involved in terror. They are accused of possessing illegal weapons. Two handguns were found at their home, which they claim belonged to the father. They were granted conditional release.
Seven others were arrested Tuesday under similar suspicions, including three who have ties with the French citizen arrested in Italy on Saturday in possession of bomb-making material. (AFP)
