Braverman: Barak does not represent Labor values

Minister of Minority Affairs Avishai Braverman (Labor) attacked the chairman of his party in a conversation with Ynet, saying "Ehud Barak does not represent the values of Labor." Braverman spoke in response to Barak's support for legislation which demands potential citizens swear loyalty to the State.
"The behavior of Labor's chairman is not proper and not acceptable," Braverman said. "Labor's chairman cannot present a position contrary to the position of most of Labor's Knesset members without discussing it with them. The party is not Barak's private property, and I call on him to bring the issue to a vote." (Attila Somfalvi)
