IDF confirms it attacked terrorist in Gaza Strip

The IDF confirmed it had attacked the vehicle of Ahmad al-Ashkar, a resident of the Gaza Strip refugee camp Nuseirat, in a joint operation with the Shin Bet on Thursday afternoon. The IDF said al-Ashkar is active in the "Eagles" group which has carried out attacks in Israel.
Palestinian sources reported earlier Thursday that four persons had been wounded in the attack, including a child aged 7. The condition of al-Ashkar is unknown. (Hanan Greenberg and news agencies)
