US expresses 'sorrow' over renewed flights between Cairo, Tehran

Washington expressed sorrow over an agreement to resume direct flights between Cairo and Tehran which was signed on Tuesday. The flights will be resumed after a break of 30 years.
State Department Spokesperson Mark Toner said the US calls on all states, including Egypt, not to work towards creating economic ties with Iran until it meets its obligations to the international community. (AFP)
