German investigators search home of Nazi suspect

A German prosecutor says investigators have searched the apartment of an 89-year-old man near Munich accused of allegedly killing at least 10 Russian prisoners-of-war at the end of World War II.
Prosecutor Andreas Brendel told The Associated Press on Friday the suspect, who allegedly was a member of the Nazis' paratrooper and tank division "Hermann Goering," was "very surprised" when his home was searched Wednesday. He has denied any involvement. (AP)
