Kosovo Muslims protest headscarf ban

Hundreds of Kosovo Muslims have demanded the government reverse its decision to ban use of Muslim headscarf in schools.
The protesters gathered Friday outside the government building in the capital carrying placards reading "Stop Discrimination" and "Unveil the mind, not the head." While Kosovo's constitution guarantees religious freedom, education authorities have banned the display of religious symbols, including the wearing of headscarfs, in schools. (AP)
